ABOUT US
We are a group of men, along with our families, living with prostate cancer, and those interested in improving the care and support of those affected by cancer.
We are an established Prostate Cancer Support Group (since 2007) based in the Barrow–in–Furness area.
We meet the second Monday of each month from 1pm to 3pm at Hawcoat Park Sports Club (Vickers Sports Club), Hawcoat Lane, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, LA14 4HF
We are open to ALL patients, carers, family and friends. Please come along and be supported.
"DO COME. YOU WILL BE MADE VERY WELCOME BY THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE."
Being told that you have Prostate Cancer is a nasty shock, so much so that it can be hard to take in the information your doctor gives you. Many people have found it extremely helpful to discuss the treatments and the implications with others who have gone through the same experience and also with their partners.

If you think this would help, you will be very welcome to attend our meetings. There is no charge and no obligation to attend more meetings, although many of us do enjoy doing so.

We meet on the second Monday of the month , usually at Hawcoat Sports and Social Club, Hawcoat Lane, Barrow-in-Furness - although it is wise to check with the secretary as we do have outings on accasion. Wives, partners and friends are welcome. We also have speakers on topics relevant to Prostate Cancer
